Monk Comes to Moorpark

Two nights and three days, two almsrounds at three restaurants.  My new address: 600 Spring Road, Apartment 70, Moorpark, CA 93021 Meditators and alms-givers welcome (left-over-alms-eaters also appreciated).

Lots of Spanish-speaking people around, so I'm taking the opportunity to learn Spanish:  "Mi aerodeslizador está lleno de anguilas."

Celebrating the First Teaching of the Buddha a day early on July 25th in deference to the Sunday Gods.  All are welcome.  Hoping the boat is ready by then.

Phra Noah, have you to have become a wandering poet mendicant? But I remember Thich Nhat Hahn. He hasn't been home to Vietnam since 1666..exiled living in the country outside Paris. Aside from the bocage, the bucolic setting in Moorpark is very similar.
At first Thay(male teacher in Vietnamese) said when he left Vietnam he was homesick, but now he says everywhere is
    home.
Noah, thank you for practice, wisdom and this site. I have been clean for sometime, have started again to meditate and always try to practice mindfulness.
    And surprise!...I am happier.
Dr Haing Ngor the doctor who portrayed Dith Pran in "The Killing Fields" once said,
"You have to have your happy life now, because when your life is coming to an end,you can't suddenly say,"Hey,wait a minute, I haven't had my happy life yet, I need
a few more years".........it doesn't work that way"

I hope to make that sojourn to Moorpark soon to visit you my brother, teacher,friend.....sans females.

    with Metta,
    Scott
