Visiting Wat Tam Bua Tong for the parivasa. Almost 100 monks in one forest monastery, kinda cool.
Yesterday we went for a hike to see a hidden waterfall, another one of my favorite places. Have to return for a bath in the next few days. Staying in my very own monastery in the forest - was here years ago when I was kicked out of Wat Tam Bua Tong by the previous abbot. It's gotta be my favorite monastery; perfectly quiet, pristine teak forest, no politics or fighting, no visitors to speak of. Pictures to come.
Spent the afternoon bathing in and meditating by a nearby river, then back for chanting - probably the first evening chanting at my monastery in hundreds of years. A good day :)
