I've moved from Ihela Radgama, at least temporarily, into a cave in Pugoda, a place closer to Colombo, allowing me at least some access to Internet. So, here I am, sitting on the floor of my cave kuti, typing a weblog post on a laptop computer over UMTS mobile broadband, keeping the mosquitoes at bay with incense and the ants away with baby powder (the duct tape of medicines, btw). Just your average, ordinary, every day cave monk.
This place seems a little easier to travel to and from, as well as allowing me basic Internet connection. And, hey, what monk would turn down living in a cave?
Stay tuned for a critique of Ven. Brahmavamso's book, "The Jhaanas".
