Internet lost for a day. Finally, it came to a head, found out the person who was letting me use their Internet hasn't been paying the bill, so they cut it off. Today went with a man to get my own Internet connection. 10 GB of bandwidth per month. Should be enough; I'll be cutting down the video quality of my uploads, though, just to be sure :)

Tomorrow full moon, teaching meditation. And I finally have permission to teach in the evenings, so after tomorrow I'll be leading meditation from 7 PM to 8 PM. I gave another talk today for the Buddhist TV, so that will be up once they've edited it and given me an AVI file.

What else... skimming through a book on remembering your future. It's interesting to look at these extra-Buddhist takes on spirituality. On the one hand it shakes up one's dogmatism in favour of universal truth and wisdom; on the other hand, it verifies the objective superiority of the Buddha's teaching - I can't deny that, and it seems tragic that such statements of objective superiority are unacceptible in a postmodern world. I'm moving away from the world, now, though, so all is well.

Thinking to take the sim card out of my phone. Computer is enough to keep the world at arms length; no farther, no nearer.

Another talk in Second Life this Wednesday at 8 PM (Pacific Standard Time)... what shall I talk about?
