Today was the first day of the Nakh Dham Toh exams. I decided at the last minute that my time was better spent with my meditation centre than in another exam room, and declined to travel the 30km to take the exam, returning to Samoeng instead. I find it exceedingly hard to build up the ambition necessary to accomplish any sort of study-based goal... always have. So, back to the real work, a new schedule, and hopes of reaching better goals:
1) no more than four hours of sleep per day
2) no less than ten hours meditation.
Goals worth attaining, in my mind. Am I up to them? Stay tuned... between helping my newly-ordained saddhivihaarika dress himself and shaping this ramshackle commune into a real meditation centre, there are challenges. No one said this path would be easy :)
