A Taste of Freedom

In Buddhism, freedom is phrased as "freedom from", not "freedom to". Sometimes we mix these two up and think that we should all be able to say or do what ever we feel is right. Right now I am thinking of Burma, and wishing peace and happiness for the entire country; but I think if it is to come about, people must be clear that they should not always say or do just anything simply because they think it is right. As I've said before, "it is always important to be right, but it is not always wise to try to make others see that you are right." But then, even the Buddha marched for peace.

Anyway, this comes right on time, as I've another talk to give, this time on freedom, of which we expect our meditators to obtain at least a taste. In mp3:
