Melly Kissmut

Trying to decide where I stand on this iffy holiday. I thought about going to sit under a pine tree to meditate, but truth is I look more like a pumpkin than a glass ornament, and was afraid people might think I got my holidays confused. I briefly got it into my head that I could probably pass for Santa Claus, but then realized I didn't have any reindeer, and anyway, Thai children don't believe in Santa Claus, and so I was afraid of being misunderstood or perhaps even disbelieved into oblivion.

In the end I decided the best thing would be to celebrate today like any other holiday... by working hard at becoming holy.

Medication heals the body; meditation heals the mind.
