The Kathina robe has been made, and I've found a short respite from the frenetic pace at Chom Tong by visiting Wat Sanku Panyavudharam. I was last here almost one year ago, and of course much has changed. New huts, new monks, and the new cetiya is finished at the entrance. I've been invited to come to teach here, and even to stay in Ajaan Tong's old kuti, a large open space closed in only by mosquito screen and a roof. Perfect for forest dwelling, perfect for meditation practice. I'll make it this far at least, on the 9th or 10th. Mae Chaem may have to wait, though, until I have more time; November is here, and December is already full. Anyway, expect to have international meditators in Hod in the near future.
