Posting Comments

Dear Readers,

I didn't really think much about the whole comment system, but the various comments I've received have prompted me to point out a few guidelines for posting comments to this weblog, as it was not meant to be a sounding board for the opinions and views of other people (it was meant to be a sounding board for the opinions and views of me -) ).

  1. Please don't post lengthy discussions or arguments in the comments section - if you want to teach me something, please send it directly to me, via the e-mail link on the right-hand side of this page... otherwise please write your own weblog and I'll be sure to link to it if I so see fit.

  2. Please don't post questions or comments unrelated to the post at hand (e.g. asking why your lengthy discussions were deleted).

  3. Please don't turn the comments section into a conversation - if you want to converse with me, please send me an e-mail; if you want to converse with the people who post comments on this page, please send them an e-mail; if they didn't leave their e-mail, they clearly are not interested in conversing with you.

  4. Comments which distort or misrepresent the teachings of the Lord Buddha will be deleted.

This list is non-exhaustive, it's just that my imagination is. Inappropriate comments have been and will be deleted. If you send me an e-mail, I can try to explain exactly why.

Also, please consider including your e-mail address in the comment - I've set them to be hidden, so you should not receive any unsolicited spam.

Thanks for all the nice comments... it's nice to know there are nice people out there -)
